Description: Construction of a Catenary Anchor Line Mooring (CALM) off-shore terminal for crude oil transfer from tankers to land, off the outer breakwater in front of the airport of Genoa. The project involves a buoy anchored to the bottom of the sea, located about 3 km away from the Oil Terminal, a submarine PLEM for valves location, two subsea pipelines about 3.3 km long. The project also provides for disposal of the existing off-shore system, located off the outer breakwater and close to the new facilities.
