Description: The thermal power plant of Brindisi consists of 4 thermal groups of 320 MWe, coal-fired, 2 of which (BR1 and BR2) taken out of service since 2001. The project involves the shutdown and maintenance of the Group 3 and the implementation of measures necessary to adapt the Group 4 to the environmental objectives of lower atmospheric emissions according to IEA requirements.
