National Framework of works carried out in compliance with any condition attached to EIA decisions issued from 1989 to 2000. Summary of the results of the first phase of recognition

The Ministry of the Environment, pursuant to Decree 152/2006, as competent authority for the national EIA procedures, listed in annex II of Second Part of Decree 152/2006 "exercises control over compliance with any condition attached to the screening determinations and EIA decisions. For the implementation of the control system, the competent authority may use, within the framework of their respective competences, the Environmental Agency System – ARPA - coordinated by ISPRA".
To this end, in the last two years the Ministry of Environment in collaboration with ISPRA, regional authorities and ARPA have carried out an activity of recognition in order to reconstruct as reliable as possible a National Framework of works carried out in compliance with the conditions attached to EIA decisions issued from 1989 to 2000.
The results of the activities are summarized in a document providing information on the status of implementation of the works and the compliance with the relevant EIA conditions.
