July 15, 2013: Workshop "The SEA in the new EU programming cycle 2014-2020"

The Directorate for the Environmental Assessment of the MoE, in the activities of the Intervention line 7.B "Support actions to the Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) processes and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) procedures” National Operational Programme Governance and System Actions 2007-2013 ESF, on the 15th of July 2013 organizes in Rome the Workshop "The Strategic Environmental Assessment in the new EU programming cycle 2014-2020".

The workshop addresses a topical issue as the draft Partnership Agreement and the Operational Programmes for the next programming cycle are about to be sent to the European Commission. Moreover, the central and regional administrations have already started programming with the preparation of strategic documents and the SEA processes should be underway.

The programme includes the comparison and study of issues and peculiarities of the SEA process and the sharing of application methods that maximize the effectiveness of its implementation and the implementation of growth strategies in social, economic and environmental sustainability .

As part of the initiative will also be awarded the first edition of the "Quality Award - Bruno Agricola" and the second edition will be presented.
